Adelaide Sacred Music Composition Prize
The St Peter’s Cathedral Music Foundation is proud to partner with the Choir of Pilgrim Church again to support the Adelaide Sacred Music Composition Prize, 2025. We are also delighted to welcome as a partner the choir of Coventry Cathedral, UK.
First prize AUD $4,500
Second prize AUD $1,500
Submissions are sought for a piece for Advent, on a set text, for choir and solo oboe (with or without organ accompaniment.) The competition is open now, and submissions close on 15th September, 2025.
The first-prize winning piece will be performed November 30th, 2025, in St Peter’s Cathedral Adelaide, Coventry Cathedral in the UK, and in December at Pilgrim Uniting Church, Adelaide.
